About Us

Welcome to SafeNest Wellness—a calm, trustworthy corner of the internet created for families who want to feel informed, supported, and empowered in their everyday lives.

I’m the founder of SafeNest Wellness, a Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience across mental health, ICU, orthopedic, and trauma care. While I’ve worked in many areas, mental health has shaped me the most. It taught me how deeply people crave safety, clarity, and compassion—especially during life’s most overwhelming moments.

But beyond my professional life, I’m also a father to a curious, energetic 4‑year‑old son and a soon‑to‑be father to a baby girl. Becoming a parent changed the way I see wellness, safety, and family life. It made everything more personal. More real. More urgent. SafeNest Wellness grew from that shift—an instinct to protect, to guide, and to create a space where families feel supported, not overwhelmed.

Why SafeNest Wellness Exists

After years at the bedside, I realized something important:
Families don’t just need medical care—they need guidance, reassurance, and practical support they can use in everyday life.

  • Not clinical advice.
  • Not diagnoses.
  • Not treatment plans.

Just clear, trustworthy, human-centered information that helps people feel more confident navigating wellness, safety, and family life.

SafeNest Wellness is my way of offering that support—outside the hospital walls.

What SafeNest Wellness Is Not

Even though I’m an RN, this website does not provide:

  • Medical advice
  • Diagnosis
  • Treatment recommendations
  • Emergency guidance
  • Personalized health instructions

SafeNest Wellness is not a substitute for professional medical care.
It’s a resource for education, empowerment, and everyday wellness, inspired by my experience but not offering clinical services.

Think of it like a trusted friend who explains things clearly—not a clinician giving instructions.

The Heart Behind SafeNest

Parenthood changed everything.
It made me think differently about safety, wellness, and the small decisions that shape a family’s day-to-day life. It made me more protective, more intentional, and more aware of how overwhelming information can feel when you’re trying to do your best for the people you love.

My work in mental health taught me empathy.
My years in ICU and trauma taught me urgency.
But becoming a parent taught me purpose.

SafeNest Wellness brings all of that together.

My Philosophy: Safety, Clarity, Connection

After 15 years in healthcare, one truth stands out:

People thrive when they feel safe and understood.

SafeNest Wellness is built on three pillars:

1. Safety

Helping families create environments where everyone feels protected—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

2. Clarity

Breaking down complex topics into simple, actionable insights without overwhelm.

3. Connection

Strengthening relationships—between parents and kids, partners, caregivers and aging parents, and most importantly, with ourselves.
